Needville is part of the greater Houston area. State Highway 36 runs through town and north to Rosenberg.

Before you buy here

• Ask for the total property tax rate, including any MUD or PID taxes in newer communities. The Fort Bend Central Appraisal District lists values and taxing units for every property.
• Check the FEMA flood maps for any address you’re considering, and ask about flood insurance.
• If the community has an HOA, read its rules and fees before you sign.
• Some properties outside city limits use a well or a septic system. Ask before you make an offer.
